Role and Responsibilities:

As a Check-Out Associate, you will engage in customer communication, product preparation, and support the operational aspects of the store. You will maintain efficiency and accuracy in order processing while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

• Ensure the safe and effective operation of all store equipment.
• Place delivered ingredients into storage areas, workstations, and cold storage after receiving the items.
• Follow the prescribed protocols of the company in food preparation.
• Process telephone and in-person orders with precision and accuracy.
• Carry out an inventory count and finish the necessary paperwork.
• Maintain daily cleanliness for equipment and the establishment.
• Adhere to orientation and on-the-job training guidelines.
• Comprehend and provide clear written advice.
• Promote effective customer and team communication to ensure seamless order processing.
• Perform basic math functions, such as accurately determining and giving correct monetary change.
• Accurately log customer orders using computer-based systems or touch screen devices.
• Follow safety protocols when handling hot surfaces, sharp tools, or moving equipment.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to interact clearly and concisely with customers and colleagues.
• Basic math skills with the ability to provide correct change.
• Accurate and efficient task performance relying on fine motor coordination.
• Aptitude to align hand movements with visual guidance for food preparation and equipment handling.
• Ability to work under pressure independently or collaboratively, while meeting quality standards.
