Role and Responsibilities:
Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and communicate details clearly to assist customers with their selections.
Accurately record purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register, process payments, and return the correct change.
Follow the Cash-In Procedure to ensure proper documentation and handling of cash and financial transactions during shifts.
Prepare food items efficiently and consistently while following Subway's quality guidelines and operational standards.
Monitor and restock sandwich preparation and front-end areas to ensure product availability throughout the shift.
Comply with all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards during preparation, serving, and cleanup.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and counter areas to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Uphold Subway's grooming and professional appearance standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Complete administrative and paperwork duties as assigned by management.
Successfully complete training and certification through the University of Subway program.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma or working toward completion.
No prior experience required; however, candidates must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to operate a computerized POS system or cash register efficiently.
Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift, and lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
