Role and Responsibilities

As a Host/Hostess, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing orders, ensuring communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff, and maintaining operational efficiency throughout each shift.

• Greet and acknowledge customers warmly upon arrival or when taking phone orders.
• Assist guests by taking their orders accurately, making recommendations, and providing menu details, including sauces, new offerings, and promotions.
• Process all transactionscash, credit, and gift cardsaccurately and in accordance with company procedures, including verifying legal age for alcohol sales when applicable.
• Provide menu suggestions and answer customer questions with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Review and confirm orders promptly to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Inspect food items for quality and accuracy before delivering to guests.
• Reconcile the cash register at the end of the shift and prepare funds for handover to the next shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked front-of-house area.
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards to promote a safe, hygienic work environment.
• Adhere to company uniform and grooming standards, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
• Address customer concerns effectively, escalating issues when needed to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive dining experience.
