Role and Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist, you will represent the brand by delivering an outstanding customer experience, crafting delicious sandwiches, maintaining food safety standards, and managing essential store operations. You will contribute to a clean, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by interacting in a friendly and supportive manner while they make their menu selections.
• Display a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings and clearly articulate them to diners.
• Utilize a Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register to record sales, calculate totals, and process payments accurately.
• Execute the Cash-In Procedure to ensure precise recording and tracking of money and financial instruments received within the specified timeframe.
• Assemble ingredients methodically, prepare meals according to established formulas, and present them promptly.
• Monitor sandwich unit products and replenish as needed to ensure consistent availability throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and handling protocols throughout preparation, presentation, and cleanup processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all areas of the restaurant to ensure a polished and professional appearance.
• Adhere to all quality standards, recipes, and operational procedures outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards in accordance with the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
• Perform minor administrative duties as required.
• Meet the requirements for enrollment in SUBWAY University courses.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education level equivalent to high school completion.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Physical capability to work in various restaurant areas and handle POS system transactions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
