Role and Responsibilities of Kitchen Crew Member:

As a Kitchen Crew Member at Wendy's, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, fast, and enjoyable experience for our guests. Whether you are working in the kitchen, preparing food, or interacting with customers in the dining area, your dedication to providing high-quality service and food will help uphold Wendy's reputation for excellence. You'll handle drive-thru, counter service, or kitchen depending on the shift while supporting your team and jumping in where needed. Key responsibilities include

• Establish rapport with customers through a welcoming smile and outstanding service.
• Ensure that all food is prepared following Wendy's criteria for freshness and excellence as per company standards.
• - Arrange appointments and keep track of schedules. Manage both incoming and outgoing phone communications.
• Support clients in making menu decisions, accurately recording orders, and confirming the accurate processing of each order.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, stocked up, and operating smoothly.
• Be a supportive team member and be willing to assist wherever needed.
• Always follow proper food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of kitchen tools and equipment.
• Handle cash exchanges with accuracy and process credit/debit card payments proficiently.
• Preserve a polished and orderly dining setting to guarantee that the restaurant is visually appealing and welcoming for customers.
• Make sure customers promptly receive their change and receipts.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and approach issue resolution with a positive attitude.
• Contribute jointly with coworkers to meet sales goals during each shift.
• Make sure to adhere to the security and safety procedures that have been put in place by the company.
• Be punctual when starting your shift and do not leave until all duties are finished.

Required Skills and Experience of Kitchen Crew Member:

• Ability to heed direction and function self-reliantly.
• Comfortable standing, moving, and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.

• Proficient in customer service delivery with a personable and inviting approach.
• Ability to support oneself while standing for long durations.
• Ability to function competently in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
• Trim, well-ordered, and polished appearance.
• Resolute in maintaining a secure and clean setting for clients.

Preferred Qualifications for Kitchen Crew Member:

• Practical experience in the food industry or customer service sector.
• Expertise in processing cash and operating registers efficiently.
• - A high school diploma or GED is the preferred qualification.
