The NbC Assistant Bakery Manager partners with the Bakery Manager and team to produce top-tier cakes, establish a warm and inviting atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service. They participate in team leadership, collaborate with the Bakery Manager to boost sales and profitability, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure that all bakery functions adhere to NbC standards. This position plays a vital role in promoting the NbC culture, endorsing core values, and bringing the brand to life for team members and guests.
Accountabilities/Duties:
Focuses on elevating the guest experience, embodies excellent guest engagement, and encourages a positive workplace culture.
Assists the Bakery Manager in overseeing various components of customer satisfaction, cake production, brand and merchandise representation, workplace culture, and inventory monitoring.
Collaborates with the Bakery Manager to recruit, train, and manage team members, allocate daily duties, and deliver feedback and coaching on performance.
Ensures that NbC product quality, services, bakery setting, and visual presentation standards are consistently met, while also guaranteeing that bakery operations conform to food safety regulations and NbC policies.
Works alongside the Bakery Manager to carry out operational and administrative responsibilities, such as devising cake production plans, establishing productivity objectives, scheduling the team, ordering supplies, compiling sales and labor reports, implementing basic accounting practices, controlling costs, and managing payroll procedures.
Contributes to the management of bespoke order completion via digital platforms and email interactions for private guests, corporate entities, and substantial and intricate delivery undertakings.
Helps in facilitating the bakery's opening and closing routines, encompassing duties such as balancing the cash drawer and making bank deposits.
Aids in the implementation of marketing tactics in the local vicinity by organizing and engaging in events that help build brand recognition.
Retains practical knowledge of all bakery functions and is prepared to step in and execute various tasks as needed by the business.

3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.

Work Availability:
Working different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a necessity to adapt to the unpredictable demands of the business.
Hours of Work: The Manager position is a full-time position and operates within the normal business hours of Nothing Bundt Cakes and might also requires work outside of such normal business hours, as the job duties demand. The salaried position requires a minimum of 42 hours worked per week during non-holiday weeks and all months excluding November and December. Any week leading up to and including holidays require a minimum of 55 hours per week in-bakery at any location in need of additional support. Work on Saturdays is required when necessary, primarily during holiday weeks.
