Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grill Cook at Wingstop, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items with precision and care while ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. You'll collaborate closely with teammates and management to maintain Wingstop's commitment to excellence in every dish served.

• Welcome guests warmly and contribute to creating a positive dining experience.
• Accurately enter customer orders into the POS system, ensuring order accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop thorough knowledge of Wingstop's menu, including sauces, sides, and limited-time offerings.
• Follow safety protocols while cooking bone-in wings, boneless wings, chicken tenders, and fries.
• Measure and apply portions and sauces according to Wingstop's recipes and presentation standards.
• Synchronize cooking times for wings and fries to achieve optimal texture, flavor, and consistency.
• Prepare and plate meals neatly, maintaining visual appeal and quality.
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout each shift.
• Filter and replace fryer oil daily while adhering to safety guidelines and wearing protective gear.
• Assist teammates and follow management instructions to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic workspace.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a grill cook, line cook, or in a professional kitchen preferred.
• Prior experience in a restaurant or cashier role is an advantage.
• Valid Food Handler Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills when supporting front-of-house operations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
