Responsibilities:

• Preparing each meal by meticulously following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating guidelines.
• Ensuring all food handling and sanitation procedures are strictly followed.
• Creating visually appealing meals, preparing all items in a timely manner, and serving hot and fresh food.
• Adhering to recipes and visual guides to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using the proper preparation methods as outlined in the current Bob Evans recipe book.
• Utilizing approved cooking equipment and methods to consistently deliver high-quality meals.
• Responsible for upholding and practicing high health and sanitation standards.
• Maintaining excellent personal grooming standards.
• Regular and frequent hand washing is mandatory.
• Wearing gloves to prevent bare hand contact with food.
• Promptly changing aprons if they become soiled.
• Consistently understanding and complying with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and all kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served.
• Prioritizing food preparation to ensure all items on a single ticket are completed simultaneously.
• Properly maintaining and operating all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Possessing a full working knowledge of the safe and efficient use of all kitchen equipment.
• May be required to assist in other job functions as needed.
