Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably within a restaurant setting.
• Proven ability to provide excellent guest service and quickly resolve any issues that may arise.
• Strong working knowledge of standard restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks (multi-tasking).
• Familiarity with computer POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate order entry.
• Reliable, with exceptional teamwork skills and sound judgment to achieve goals.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands/fingers for handling tools and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Engage guests professionally to take accurate food and beverage orders, using menu expertise and situational selling techniques.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring all items meet company quality and preparation standards (e.g., perfect plates).
• Effectively communicate current promotions, new products, and menu details to guests, accurately describing food items.
• Input guest orders accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food from the kitchen.
• Pre-bus tables and perform approved side work as directed to maintain dining area efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safe food and beverage handling practices, maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation at all times.
• Safely operate basic food preparation equipment, such as knives, coffee makers, and iced tea machines.
• Professionally manage and address guest concerns or complaints, escalating to a manager as needed.
• Assist in managing crowds and ensuring guests waiting for a table or carryout order feel comfortable and at ease.
• Assist in other job roles or departments as requested by management.
