Service Shift Leader are tasked with maintaining the company's service standards and delivering exceptional hospitality while supporting salaried management in daily operational tasks. This hourly position involves providing excellent guest service on the restaurant floor and assisting with administrative responsibilities. Service Shift Leader play a vital role in upholding service excellence and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities of Service Shift Leader:

Acts as the frontline representative for SOH in the absence of management.
Provides front-of-house staff with training, coaching, and feedback to improve their skills.
Occasionally, one may need to shoulder the responsibility of running a shift independently.
The Service Shift Leader can expect to spend a significant portion of their time physically present on the restaurant floor.
Plays a crucial role in mentoring new employees, guiding them through the onboarding phase, and ensuring they comply with all organizational standards.
Is available to assist in handling staffing needs in case a team member is unable to report to work
Required to manage cash receipts, store receipts, and discounts, and conduct reconciliations of cash receipts with store bank accounts
Complete any other assigned responsibilities. Reasonable measures might be taken to assist individuals with disabilities in carrying out the essential job functions.
Service Shift Leader must be able to remain calm under pressure when dealing with guests, staff, equipment problems, or emergency situations.
