Job Summary:

Looking for a Server who is personable, attentive, and dynamic to join our team. Ensure Guests have an exceptional dining experience. Serve Patrons in a welcoming, friendly, prompt, and proficient manner, being attentive to their wishes. Adhere to responsible alcohol serving practices as per Golden Corral Dining's policy and pertinent state and local laws.

Responsibilities:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu to present our offerings to customers, keep them updated on current food promotions and specials, and respond to any questions they may have.
• Accurately notates food and drink orders on guest tickets and promptly enters them into the POS system before serving, utilizing suitable abbreviations and charges.
• Provides efficient service by delivering food and beverages promptly to guests, involving the task of retrieving orders from the kitchen and serving them to customers within the server's section or any other specified area of the restaurant.
• Competence in observing guest conduct and pinpointing situations that warrant escalation to a Manager, even if they are in another team member's zone of responsibility.
• Observe alcohol awareness protocols to confirm age, prevent intoxication, and address intoxicated individuals while adhering to company alcohol policies.
• Verify the accuracy of all financial transactions and ensure precision in handling coins to give accurate change.
• Perform transactions accurately using credit card machines.
• Delivers timely and accurate change calculations for guests.
• Sustains table neatness through pre-clearing, monitoring drink levels, tidying up, and ensuring an adequate napkin supply.
• Responsible for station cleanliness, properly arranging and removing station tables as needed.
• Carries out responsibilities associated with transitioning between shifts.
• Follows all safety and sanitation protocols as outlined by the company.
• Offers assistance to colleagues when it is deemed necessary or when the business situation requires it.
• Nurtures a constructive rapport with all team members to encourage teamwork and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
• Portrays Golden Corral in a positive light consistently.
• Maintains the cleanliness of work areas and ensures proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.

Requirements:

• Expertise in English speaking and writing which enables clear communication
• A tidy and well-kept appearance is indicative of a professional attitude and attention to detail
• Unyielding endurance for lengthy or split work schedules
• Maintain a standing posture for an extended time
• Can conform to a variable work timetable
• Highly Collaborative Nature
• Demonstrate a sense of critical priority
• Capable of picking up 25 pounds multiple times every day
• Desired: One year of experience managing monetary transactions
• Preferable to have previous waitstaff experience
