Shift Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Shift Supervisor at Red Robin, you will oversee daily operations during mid and closing shifts, under the supervision of exempt management. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, leading the team, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your duties will include:

• Managing daily activities during mid and closing shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and upholding food quality standards.
• Providing leadership and guidance to team members, organizing schedules, and assigning tasks.
• Enhancing guest experiences and supporting initiatives aimed at optimizing profitability.
• Fulfilling various hourly positions as needed to support the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least one year of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Proven commitment to maintaining cleanliness, food quality, and excellent customer service standards.
• Ability to manage team dynamics and provide effective leadership.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• A passion for hospitality and supporting the growth of team members.
• Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and conflict resolution skills.
• Competency in applying basic math to business situations, financial reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
