Role and Responsibilities of Crew Team Manager:

As an Crew Team Manager, you will be responsible for management of the entire restaurant's operations, working directly with the General Manager as the store's second in command. You will provide direction, training, and expertise to ensure customer expectations are exceeded while overseeing operations and developing team members. Key responsibilities include

  • - Encourage, train, and mentor staff to construct a team that operates at a high level of performance.
  • Establish a pleasant and hospitable work and dining environment that caters to the comfort and enjoyment of team members and visitors.
  • Maintain oversight and reinforce compliance with food safety regulations through monitoring procedures.
  • Improve store efficiency and drive financial success through effective operations management practices.
  • Comply with the QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) benchmarks to ensure that the restaurant maintains a reputation for excellence.
  • Safeguard Wendy's brand and assets to prevent any unauthorized access or harm.
  • Illustrate a strong work ethic in achieving results and exceeding guest satisfaction.
  • Abide by and ensure the adherence to the standard operating procedures of the company.
  • Complete inventory audits by counting and recording product and supplies.
  • Plan and assign work shifts to team members to meet staffing needs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all protocols concerning proper food handling and preparation as outlined in company policies.
  • Maintain control over food, labor, paper, and other manageable expenses to enhance financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team of the restaurant to meet profit targets.
  • Provide superior problem-solving and decision-making services tailored to meet the unique requirements of each customer.
  • Journey to alternate restaurants, area workplaces, banking venues, and scheduled meetings as required.

Required Skills and Experience of Crew Team Manager:

  • It is a requirement to have a high school diploma or similar certification and to have in possession all the necessary documents as stipulated by state and federal laws.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience as a Shift Supervisor or one year as an Assistant Manager in the restaurant field, specifically in high-volume QSR and fast-casual environments.
  • Willing to accommodate varying shifts, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • - The job mandates a driver's license that is in good standing and the means to privately commute.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing a team within a high-energy, swiftly changing environment.
  • Cost of goods sold awareness is key to evaluating operational efficiency.
  • Impressive problem-solving and decision-making prowess.
  • Dedication to achieving goals while keeping the customer as the primary focus.
  • Ability to come to work promptly and as scheduled.
  • Capability to heed guidance and cooperate successfully in group settings.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of all relevant training initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications for Crew Team Manager:

  • Demonstrated expertise in handling restaurant management responsibilities within fast-food chains that experience a high influx of customers.
  • Proficiency in computer technology can be beneficial.
  • Well-versed in managing financial regulations and operational procedures.
