As a Kitchen Helper, your role is crucial for establishing a clean, safe, and inviting dining setting for our customers. Your attention to cleanliness and organization is key in ensuring that each guest receives impeccable tableware and enjoys a comfortable atmosphere. By maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant, you support the team effectively.

Kitchen Helper Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and disinfect dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and pans with the assistance of dishwashing machinery.
• Assure that all tableware and cutlery are spotless, completely dry, and stored properly for the use of both customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and behind-the-scenes areas throughout the establishment.
• Keep the utility space neat and tidy through regular daily upkeep.
• Make sure to sweep, mop, and disinfect the floors in the kitchen and utility areas frequently.
• Dispose of waste and uphold sanitation standards in the dumpster vicinity and loading dock.
• Complete the assigned deep-cleaning duties on a routine basis as outlined in the schedule.
• Adhere to the guidelines set by the local health department and follow the safety procedures established by the company.
• Replenish Cook, Line, and Server stations with newly washed dishes, cutlery, and glassware.
• Notify the Manager immediately of any equipment issues or safety hazards that need attention.
• Balance productivity during busy periods with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Support a superb guest experience by consistently maintaining cleanliness in both dishes and dining areas.
• Assist the restaurant staff with the timely delivery of spotless flatware and dishes.

Kitchen Helper Qualifications:

• Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced ambiance while upholding uncompromising standards of cleanliness.
• Showing enthusiasm for collaborative efforts and displaying a resilient work ethic.
• Should be able to stand for long durations and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The job necessitates working on nights, weekends, and holidays if the situation calls for it.
• Regardless of prior experience, training will be provided.
