Role and Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items with precision, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while supporting a positive team culture.

• Welcome guests warmly and contribute to a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere.
• Accurately process and fulfill orders received in person or over the phone using the POS system.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items, sauces, specials, and limited-time offerings to provide accurate information.
• Safely prepare and cook bone-in wings, boneless wings, chicken tenders, and fries to Wingstop standards.
• Follow proper portioning guidelines for food, sauces, and seasonings to ensure consistency and quality.
• Coordinate cooking operations efficiently to deliver meals promptly without compromising quality.
• Ensure all dishes are presented neatly and meet visual and flavor standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and workstation throughout your shift.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear when handling hot equipment or fryer oil.
• Assist team members and follow the guidance of supervisors and managers to meet daily goals.
• Handle food and cleaning supplies safely and in accordance with sanitation requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen, with prior cooking or line cook experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Basic math and cash handling skills preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork.

Salary:
