Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and cultivate a positive team culture that reflects Wingstop's commitment to excellence.

• Support the Kitchen Manager in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution of recipes and food safety standards.
• Lead by example to create an engaging, team-oriented environment that values respect, collaboration, and accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring kitchen staff to promote professional growth and peak performance.
• Oversee inventory control, food ordering, and cost management to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor food preparation processes and ensure that all menu items meet Wingstop's quality, safety, and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in developing and executing kitchen efficiency goals, production timelines, and quality control systems.
• Assist with payroll processes, sales and labor reports, and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest experiences.
• Contribute to community engagement and marketing initiatives to strengthen the brand's presence and reputation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or culinary training preferred.
• 13 years of experience in food service, restaurant management, or kitchen supervision.
• Proven ability to lead and train team members, ensuring top-tier guest service and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Availability:

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
• Full-time availability expected, averaging approximately 42 hours per week during standard business periods.
• Additional hours may be required during peak seasons or special promotions to support kitchen operations.
