Job Summary of Store Manager:

As a Franchise Restaurant Manager at Dairy Queen, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations. You will manage the restaurant's profit & loss, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and leading the team to exceed fan expectations. Job Functions:

• Serve as an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand by demonstrating professionalism in all areas of performance.
• Welcome and engage with fans, providing a positive and enjoyable experience.
• Strive to exceed fan expectations through timely and quality service.
• Work with the owner to develop the restaurant's business plan and manage the restaurant's profit & loss to optimize sales and profits.
• Ensure competency in inventory and cash controls to meet or exceed Dairy Queen brand standards.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop the store management team and hourly crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
• Maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members.
• Ensure that food safety remains the top priority in store operations, role modeling and enforcing safe food handling practices.
• Integrate PRIDE systems and routines into daily operations, setting shifts up for success.
• Resolve fan concerns calmly and embrace Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Develop and implement local, regional, and national marketing promotions, including public and community relations programs to increase sales.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for excellence in all aspects of the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, with responsibility for profit and loss; previous quick service restaurant experience is highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong hospitality and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to manage COGS and labor efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.
• Demonstrated success in coaching and developing employees.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in and out of varying temperature ranges.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of the business simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and punctuality.
• Maintain a positive attitude and foster a fun work environment for the team.

Salary:

• Starting Salary: ~$40,000 per year
