The essential role of the Baker involves preparing yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and other freshly baked goods. Prioritizing freshness, speed, cleanliness, and organization is always top of mind for the Baker as they go about their daily duties.

Food Production:

• Develops homemade yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and various baked creations.
• Meets weekend production needs by creating breakfast bakery items.
• Complete utilization of the buffet production system is necessary to guarantee quality output and adherence to shelf life requirements.

Operational Excellence:

• Maintains a commitment to serving bakery items that are always fresh, delicious, visually appealing, and heated when necessary.
• Abides by Golden Corral's quality standards by meticulously preparing all products as directed in their recipes.
• Maintains standardized portioning and recipe yields.
• Follow the Bakery and Dessert Café Production Guide for successful outcomes.

Guest Service:

• Acts in a friendly and considerate manner when assisting customers with their baked goods needs.
• Is aware of and follows position responsibilities in connection with just-in-time delivery.

Cleanliness:

• Oversees duty roster obligations with a focus on cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Abides by the protocols mandated by the county health department.
