Job Summary:

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of 5-7 Popeyes restaurants within a designated district. You will report to the Director of Operations and are tasked with driving sales growth, increasing profitability, and ensuring that all locations adhere to operational standards and guidelines. Your leadership will be essential in supporting Restaurant General Managers and their teams to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining high safety, quality, and service benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning efforts, including forecasting sales, managing budgets, and planning capital expenditures to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor Profit & Loss statements, labor expenses, and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess restaurant performance, identifying opportunities for training and development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Popeyes' operational policies and procedures.
• Work with training teams to manage Training Restaurants and ensure all shift personnel meet required certification standards.
• Address customer complaints and issues swiftly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strategically manage staffing needs, reduce turnover, and foster employee loyalty through forecasting, hiring experienced supervisors, and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Supervise internal processes, including cash management, security protocols, and hazard mitigation at district sites.
• Collaborate with restaurant managers to enhance their leadership skills, performance, and team dynamics.
• Hold monthly district meetings to evaluate restaurant operations, communicate training updates, and develop strategic initiatives.
• Implement marketing initiatives and stay informed about competitive trends to drive sales performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• 5-7 years of experience managing multiple units in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or similar food service industry.
• Proven leadership skills in motivating and empowering teams to perform at their best.
• Solid financial knowledge with experience in P&L oversight, staffing, inventory management, and expense control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and an ability to learn new technology quickly.
• A valid driver's license, current insurance, and the ability to travel extensively (up to 60%), including weekends and nights.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven results.
