Role and Responsibilities:

As a Front Counter Staff member, you will be responsible for providing friendly, efficient service and maintaining a positive atmosphere at the restaurant. You'll handle customer interactions, process transactions, and ensure that every order meets Wingstop's standards of quality and excellence.

• Provide a warm and welcoming experience to every guest, whether in person or over the phone.
• Accurately process customer orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, sauces, promotions, and make personalized recommendations to customers.
• Handle financial transactions with accuracy, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
• Verify the accuracy and presentation of all orders before delivering them to customers.
• Ensure timely preparation and handoff of orders to maintain guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Balance cash drawers and complete necessary documentation at the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness in customer service areas, dining spaces, and counter stations.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Respond to customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Represent Wingstop with a clean, professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or cash handling preferred but not required.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a valid Food Handler Certification.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and managing cash transactions accurately.
• Strong numerical and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional with strong attention to detail.
