Job Summary of Whataburger Assistant Manager:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Whataburger Assistant Manager:

• Lead and support team members and team leaders to deliver exceptional service and food quality.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, comfort, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory, and quality control.
• Train and develop team members to support growth and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor point-of-sale and back-of-house systems for accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet business goals and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines and certifications.

Qualifications and Experience of Whataburger Assistant Manager:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team motivation skills.
• Working knowledge of restaurant systems, food safety, and operational procedures.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification and Food Safety Certification as required.
