Responsibilities of Restaurant Area Manager:

• Ensures operations meet Raising Cane's standards in one restaurant zone during a shift
• Enforces Raising Cane's policies and standards
• Manages assigned zone according to Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
• Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
• Directs crewmembers during a shift
• Provides exemplary customer service
• Supports execution of reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
• Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, etc.)
• Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working order
• Completes other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Restaurant Area Manager:

• Detail-oriented, possessing strong organizational skills, and adept at handling a variety of tasks that could be continuously shifting
• Motivated and adaptable individual with a high level of energy and a self-directed approach, demonstrating excellent written and spoken communication abilities
• Capable of performing tasks with equal proficiency whether working alone or in a team setting
• Having the ability to identify issues, establish objectives, implement strategies, and turn plans into reality to address challenges
• Capable of covering different work schedules such as daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as being open to traveling for work-related events and training as required
• All mandatory Raising Cane's corporate training initiatives must be successfully finished
• At least one year of experience in managing restaurants or retail establishments, or advanced crew expertise at Raising Cane's
• The individual must have reached the age of 18 or above
• Preferably, a high school diploma or its equivalent is desired
