Payment Assistant

Job Summary of Payment Assistant:

A payment assistant accompanies other restaurant employees as needed, manages a cash register, and deals with guests. Processing credit card payments, taking cash payments and providing change, and conducting transactions utilizing a point of sale (POS) system are some of the duties associated with this line of work. Greeting guests, assisting with customer concerns, and keeping up with menu and sales policies are additional responsibilities of the payment assistant. Basic arithmetic, customer service, and communication skills are crucial, and prior experience in retail or food service is advantageous.
