Qualifications:

• A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a restaurant or food service setting.
• Strong working knowledge of standard restaurant concepts, protocols, and practices.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a quick and steady pace for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare food items by closely following established recipes and storyboards using the proper preparation methods.
• Strictly adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures, including frequent hand washing and wearing gloves to prevent bare hand contact.
• Ensure the workstation, including tables, shelving, refrigeration units, and equipment, is kept clean and sanitary at all times; change soiled aprons promptly.
• Understand and consistently comply with standardized portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen rules, and established policies.
• Execute final menu item plating according to plating recipes once orders are received.
• Timely receive, unpack, and organize all delivered goods and inventory.
• Work collaboratively with management, utilizing tools such as the prep list and hot box chart, to ensure all products needed for service are delivered on schedule.
• Promptly notify management of any equipment malfunctions or issues concerning food quality.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Follow all safety protocols when operating any kitchen equipment.
• Be willing to assist with tasks in other job categories as directed by management.
