Role and Responsibilities of Assistant Store Manager:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for management of the entire restaurant's operations, working directly with the General Manager as the store's second in command. You will provide direction, training, and expertise to ensure customer expectations are exceeded while overseeing operations and developing team members. Key responsibilities include

  • - Develop, coach, and guide employees to form a team that excels and delivers exceptional results.
  • Create a welcoming and congenial setting that promotes camaraderie and satisfaction for both employees and guests.
  • Administer and reinforce food safety practices to comply with regulations effectively.
  • Increase store revenue and achieve profit targets by focusing on operational management excellence.
  • Consistently follow the QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) criteria to guarantee top-notch quality, service, and cleanliness within the restaurant.
  • Guarantee the preservation of Wendy's brand and valuable assets.
  • Showcase a relentless dedication to delivering outcomes and going the extra mile for customers.
  • Enforce and observe the standard operational protocols of the organization.
  • Track and document product and supply levels through inventory counting.
  • Set up work schedules for team members to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Maintain consistent enforcement of all company regulations related to safe food handling and preparation throughout the restaurant.
  • Successfully manage and reduce costs linked to food, labor, paper, and other controllable expenses.
  • Support the restaurant management team in achieving profit objectives.
  • Showcase expert problem-solving and decision-making skills that are customer-centric and highly effective.
  • Commute to different dining spots, nearby office spaces, financial establishments, and arranged sessions as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience of Assistant Store Manager:

  • The possession of a high school diploma or its equal alternative and the possession of all mandatory paperwork required by state and federal regulations is a prerequisite.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Shift Supervisor or one year as an Assistant Manager in the restaurant industry is necessary, particularly in high-volume QSR or fast-casual concepts.
  • Readiness to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • - An active and valid driver's license along with private transportation access are essential requirements.
  • Established talent in steering and overseeing a team in a fast-paced and dynamic scenario.
  • Having a grasp of cost of goods sold is important for assessing profitability.
  • Superior talent in resolving issues and making decisions.
  • Prioritizing customer needs and aiming for tangible results.
  • Ability to come to work promptly and as scheduled.
  • Proficiency in receiving and implementing instructions while maintaining good interpersonal relationships.
  • Capacity to successfully complete all applicable training programs.

Preferred Qualifications for Assistant Store Manager:

  • Past roles involved managing the daily operations of fast-food establishments with a high volume of patrons.
  • Having a high level of competence with computers is advantageous.
  • Proficient in administering financial oversight and operational responsibilities.
