This leadership position oversees the daily operations of a high-volume restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and a positive team environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Manager:
Lead the restaurant by fostering teamwork, integrity, and a guest-focused culture in line with company values.
Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, maintaining 100% table visits during shifts.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor laws, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Oversee inventory, product quality, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of the restaurant.
Recruit, train, manage performance, and develop a diverse team of associates and managers.
Conduct regular meetings and ensure clear communication across management and staff.
Manage administrative, financial, and operational processes including budgeting, cash handling, cost analysis, and reporting.
Work with Area Director and leadership team to drive improvements and meet sales targets.
Promote community engagement and brand awareness to strengthen the local market presence.
Qualifications and Experience of General Manager:
3–5 years of management experience in restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment; casual dining experience preferred.
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven leadership capabilities supported by positive evaluations.
Strong business and financial acumen to manage high-volume operations effectively.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Current certifications in responsible alcohol service and food safety as required by state regulations.
Ability to stand and move throughout shifts up to 12 hours and lift 25–50 pounds.
