Job Title: District Manager – Popeyes

Job Summary:

The District Manager at Popeyes is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing up to six restaurants within an assigned area. You will drive sales growth, operational excellence, profitability, and people development while ensuring all locations meet corporate standards. Acting as a mentor and coach to Restaurant General Managers (RGMs), you will ensure teams are well-staffed, motivated, and aligned with Popeyes’ commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. This role offers relocation assistance up to $5,000 and monthly bonuses based on sales performance, cost control, and adherence to brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and performance of up to six restaurants, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Ensure all locations are staffed with qualified RGMs, Assistant Managers, shift supervisors, and crew members.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and maintain budgeted operating profits for the district.
• Monitor Profit & Loss statements and take corrective actions to control expenses and maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular restaurant visits across all shifts to assess operational compliance, quality, and customer experience.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and, if necessary, terminate RGMs; ensure performance reviews are completed for all management and crew levels.
• Support RGMs in identifying team training needs and oversee implementation of development programs.
• Assist RGMs in enforcing compliance with company policies related to security, safety, cash handling, sexual harassment, and labor laws.
• Ensure all restaurants meet Popeyes’ operational standards required for expansion approval.
• Collaborate with corporate and franchise policies to maintain legal and operational compliance across the district.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferred: Three-year college degree in business or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 3 to 5 years of multi-unit management experience in the food industry, preferably within QSR operations.
• Proven success as a restaurant general manager with demonstrated leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and clear presentation.
• Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to travel regularly within the district and maintain a flexible schedule.
