Catering Team Member

Job Summary:

As a Catering Assistant at Chick-fil-A, your primary goal is to guarantee the accurate and timely completion of catering orders. In collaboration with the catering leads, you will oversee meal preparation, packaging, delivery coordination, and the maintenance of cleanliness standards in the catering section. You will also be expected to pitch in with front-of-house and back-of-house activities during quieter times. Success in this role hinges on possessing strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proactive, team-driven outlook. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, service-oriented environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support catering clients in fulfilling guest orders and keeping the catering equipment and workspace clean
• Offer assistance to ensure the efficient functioning of both FOH and BOH operations in between catering responsibilities
• Deliver catering requests to clients with professionalism and attention to detail
• Ensure that food safety and cleanliness criteria are consistently met
• Arrange catering deliveries and confirm the precision of packaging and labeling components
• Develop strong communication skills to enhance interactions with clients, catering team members, and store management for improved service delivery
• Make sure deliveries are executed on time and catering preps at the store level are completed promptly
• Abide by the availability plan, primarily allocated from Monday to Friday, with working hours extended from midday until 8:00 PM for full-time placements, or commencing at 2:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM for part-time assignments, interspersed with biweekly Saturday shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

• It is necessary to be at least 18 years old
• Owning a valid driver's license is mandatory
• It is essential to have a trustworthy way of commuting in case the company car is not at your disposal
• A high level of communication prowess and organizational proficiency is mandatory
• It is beneficial to have previous experience dealing with customers
• One must possess the capacity to excel autonomously as well as in a collective setting
• Exhibits trustiness, efficiency, and a can-do approach
• Amicable, truthful, industrious, and focused on working together with others
