Job Summary:

The Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A plays a crucial role in kitchen operations, food preparation, and overall restaurant support. This position allows individuals to gain hands-on experience, develop hospitality expertise, and advance their careers while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks in alignment with Chick-fil-A's brand, culture, and Operator vision, ensuring product quality and positive guest experiences.
• Work efficiently to maintain operational excellence and meet performance goals.
• Organize, prepare, and distribute food products according to Chick-fil-A procedures.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to promote transparency and collaboration.
• Stand for extended periods (up to five hours) and perform tasks in fast-paced conditions.
• Understand and apply basic math and measurement techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the restaurant, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and equipment upkeep.
• Provide courteous guest interactions, regardless of assigned tasks.
• Transfer goods from deliveries to designated storage areas and lift items up to 45 pounds.
• Adhere to ethical standards, transparency, and teamwork principles in all duties.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment, handling pots and pans, and working efficiently with high and low shelves.
• Basic literacy, math, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-heat, and noisy environments.
• Adaptability to changing schedules and shift requirements.
