Assistant Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations during your shift, ensuring team members perform to the highest standards. You will lead by example, maintain operational excellence, and drive customer satisfaction.

• Manage all aspects of your shift, including staffing, cost controls, cash handling, inventory, food management, and customer relations.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, store cleanliness, marketing initiatives, and profitability goals.
• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and maintain accurate inventory and paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facilities daily.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, both verbally and in writing.
• Train and mentor new team members through on-the-job orientation and guidance.
• Perform essential functions such as accurate math operations, making correct change, entering orders, and navigating delivery routes.
• Deliver product safely within designated areas and assist with marketing and promotional activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Favorable driving record and criminal background check.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong motor coordination, eye-hand skills, and physical ability to lift, carry, push, and reach as required.
• Ability to navigate stairs, adverse weather conditions, and variable temperatures while performing duties.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching as required for operational tasks.
• Hand tasks include shaping pizza dough, using pizza peels and cutters, and assembly of boxes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and varying in-store temperatures.
