Ensures that the quality of fried products remains high with a focus on freshness and heat.
Should the Buffet Attendant be unavailable, the responsibility of restocking the items at the Display Cooking Station falls to the Cook.
If the Carver is not present, they help guests by offering alternative choices of carved meats.
Implementation and strict adherence to the buffet production system to secure quality assurance and meet shelf life guidelines.
Operational Excellence:
Ensures that all food items are cooked, held, and served at the right temperature.
Utilizes the Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide and the Display Cooking Hot Cook Production Guide for managing the stock of all hot cook items.
Oversees the inauguration and finalization of administrative procedures.
Observes the maintenance protocols outlined in the Equipment Maintenance manual for equipment upkeep.
Administers the orderly rotation of food products using the first-in, first-out methodology.
Assessing product levels and confirming them with the Manager's build-to list at the start and end of shifts.
Cleanliness:
Maintains the cleanliness of the Hot Cook area and small kitchen items, conducting regular inspections of dish cleanliness.
Oversees the duty roster and ensures compliance with cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
Complies with the requirements specified by the local health department.
Uphold sanitation levels and product quality by consistently cleaning and scraping the char grill.
Guest Service:
Ensures that Hot Choice Buffet products, including Display Cooking selections, are maintained at optimal temperature levels to cater to guest preferences.
Recognizes and follows through with the position tasks related to just-in-time delivery.
Displaying friendliness and politeness towards visitors and offering assistance with their product inquiries.
