• Proven ability to take on a leadership role and manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assume full ownership and leadership of assigned shifts, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable operations.
• Supervise, coach, and provide direction to kitchen and restaurant staff, setting a clear example for others to follow.
• Act as a Step Change Thinker by quickly analyzing complex situations, encouraging innovative solutions, and fostering open dialogue about potential improvements.
• Function as a Know How Builder by proactively seeking performance feedback from diverse sources and effectively implementing shift success routines.
• Execute essential operational controls, including managing shift accountability, accurately projecting product needs, monitoring R&M spending, and strictly controlling COS/COL.
• Serve as a People Grower by actively role-modeling and championing the 'How We Win Together' (HWWT) and 'Achieving Breakthrough Results' (ABR) cultural values.
• Support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Unit Manager (AUM) in the execution of talent development strategies, utilizing both the Learning Zone and direct, shoulder-to-shoulder training.
• Develop team capability by consistently using and coaching the EARS Model (Explore, Analyze, Respond, and Making it Stick) for performance improvement.
• Maintain high performance standards by holding team members accountable when performance falls short of expectations.
• Reinforce and recognize outstanding team results using recognition tools, like CHAMPS cards, to maintain a culture of breakthrough performance.
• Demonstrate and promote positive energy and a professional attitude across all shifts.
