District Manager

Job Summary:

The Multi-Unit Manager at Empire Hospitality Group is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of 8 to 10 Subway locations within a defined district. The primary goal is to motivate staff, streamline business processes, uphold brand standards, and increase profitability. By focusing on maintaining high-quality service, complying with regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction, this role contributes to fostering a supportive environment for developing future leaders in the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operational efficiency of multiple Subway restaurants to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with brand standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and support restaurant managers and assistant managers to build high-performing teams.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to provide coaching, identify operational issues, and reinforce a culture of accountability across food safety, customer experience, staffing, cleanliness, and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for each location, focusing on sales targets and operational performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators, such as revenue, labor costs, food costs, customer satisfaction, and employee retention, to detect trends and develop effective strategies.
• Coordinate local and regional marketing campaigns to boost store traffic and enhance brand awareness.
• Oversee staffing allocation across locations and assist with recruitment efforts to ensure adequate coverage and improved team performance.
• Act as a liaison between store employees and senior management, facilitating communication and implementing key initiatives.
• Drive operational improvements by analyzing data insights, comparing them to industry benchmarks, and applying best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree in Business or Hospitality is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in multi-unit management in the fast-casual or QSR industry.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and enforce high standards across teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and team dynamics.

Salary:

The anticipated annual salary range is between $55,000 and $75,000, with additional earnings potential based on performance. Compensation may vary depending on factors such as experience, district size, and qualifications.
