Job Summary of Team Leader:

This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The individual will be responsible for maintaining smooth restaurant operations, enhancing team productivity, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Team Leader:

• Serve as an ambassador for the Dairy Queen brand, ensuring professionalism in all aspects of performance.
• Greet and welcome fans enthusiastically, creating a memorable customer experience.
• Ensure fan expectations are exceeded by providing timely and high-quality service.
• Assist in managing specific areas of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Maximize team performance by resolving bottlenecks and maintaining fast service levels.
• Support the GM and Assistant Manager in training and coaching crew members to build a productive and skilled team.
• Ensure the restaurant is properly organized and fully staffed at all times.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for both customers and team members.
• Resolve customer concerns calmly and follow Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Foster positive relationships with management and team members, promoting teamwork.
• Model performance standards for all team members and workstations.
• Demonstrate a passion for excellence in every aspect of work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience of Team Leader:

• At least 6 months of experience in a high-volume quick-service restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise specific areas of the restaurant in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and punctuality.
• Maintain a fun and positive attitude at all times.
