Job Summary of Shfit Leader:

Dairy Queen is seeking an energetic and experienced team member to support restaurant operations by supervising specific areas, ensuring smooth workflows, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role focuses on leadership, coaching, and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shfit Leader:

• Act as a brand ambassador and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Greet and welcome guests with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Assist in managing designated areas of the restaurant during shifts.
• Monitor crew performance, resolve workflow bottlenecks, and ensure timely service.
• Support the GM and Assistant Manager in training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Ensure the restaurant is organized, properly staffed, and operating efficiently.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Address guest concerns calmly and adhere to Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Model performance standards for all team members and workstations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management while promoting a culture of excellence.

Qualifications and Experience of Shfit Leader:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a high - volume quick service restaurant.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise specific areas of the restaurant efficiently in a fast - paced environment.
• Knowledge and application of safe food handling practices; ServSafe certification required or certifiable.
• Highly organized, detail - oriented, and able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good manners, proper hygiene, punctuality, and a fun, positive attitude.
