Janitorial Maintenance Supervisor

As a Janitorial Maintenance Supervisor at Dave & Buster's, you will be a leader in ensuring our facility is consistently clean and well-maintained. You are responsible for overseeing the janitorial team and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Your efforts will directly contribute to a safe and inviting atmosphere for our guests and staff, making their experience exceptional from the moment they walk in.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct the daily cleaning and maintenance activities for both the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Ensure all cleaning, repair, and upkeep tasks are completed to the highest standards, maintaining a pristine environment for guests.
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring they are productive, efficient, and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to guarantee all areas, including kitchens, restrooms, and dining spaces, are sanitary and well-stocked.
• Safely operate and train team members on the correct use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring the team has the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.
• Collaborate with management to address any maintenance issues or significant matters promptly.
• Uphold and enforce all company safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere among the maintenance team and other departments.
• Regularly inspect and maintain various surfaces, including floors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
• Ensure all trash and waste are properly managed and disposed of.
• Assist with other team members' duties as needed to support business operations.
• This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform frequent physical tasks such as bending and stooping.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a janitorial or maintenance role, with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with guests.
• Disciplined, proactive, and capable of working independently while also leading a team.
• Must maintain a professional and clean appearance, adhering to company dress code.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
