Qualifications:

• A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of established restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Exceptional guest service skills and a strong commitment to hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, exhibiting high levels of dependability.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks (multi-tasking) and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency with computer systems, specifically Point of Sale (POS) operations.
• The ability to identify and efficiently resolve guest or operational issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and efficiently take their food and beverage orders, utilizing strong menu knowledge and upselling techniques (situational selling).
• Promptly serve all food and beverages to guests, verifying all items are prepared correctly and delivered according to company standards.
• Engage with guests in a professional manner to understand their needs, assist with menu selections, and communicate information about new promotions and products.
• Accurately input all orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensure the quality of food served meets company standards by properly describing menu items and only serving plates that meet specifications.
• Maintain a tidy dining area by pre-bussing tables and performing assigned side work tasks as detailed in the side work binder.
• Adhere strictly to all company standards for safe food and beverage handling and maintain a clean workspace.
• Safely utilize basic food preparation equipment, such as knives, coffee makers, and iced tea machines.
• Effectively address and resolve guest concerns, involving management as necessary.
• Interact positively with guests, managing crowds, and making those waiting for a table or carryout feel comfortable.
• Be ready to assist in other job functions or areas of the restaurant as needed or assigned by management.
