Our team members are operations and customer experience professionals who specialize in one or more of the following areas: Service & Hospitality (Front of House), Culinary & Prep (Heart of House), or Facilities, Inventory, and Equipment (Full-Restaurant). The Team Member engages most closely with our customers and must be an excellent image bearer of our core values, character competencies, culture, and mission.

While the majority of our team focuses on our guests and food preparation, it is equally as important to have a team dedicated to caring for our building, our equipment, and our inventory. Without consistent execution of systems in these areas, the chaos that can exist in the restaurant business can quickly overwhelm our ability to function properly.

Our F.I.E. team is the bedrock of this business, helping us stay in position and on track to serve guests well for years to come! At CFA Bartow Ave, our Facilities, Inventory, and Equipment Team specializes in restaurant cleanliness, preventive equipment maintenance, inventory organization (using the first-in, first-out method, or FIFO), and controlling the costs of food, chemicals, and paper.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure inventory ordering is at appropriate levels to maintain freshness while also ensuring the full menu is available at all times
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good repair to ensure team members can prepare and serve food quickly
• Maintain appropriate levels of prepped raw chicken and thawing chicken to prevent breading delays
• Assist in stocking team member work spaces when available
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following our restaurant standards.
• Maintain a clutter-free work environment
• Maintain zone cleaning schedule
• Daily opening, shift change, and closing checklists are completed and verified
• Check-in Truck
• Organize Restaurant Inventory (FIFO)
• Chicken Fileting & Rotation
• Maintain Deep cleaning schedule & overall cleanliness of restaurant
• Properly maintain dish and trash areas
• Maintain employee break room & Operator's office.
• Weekly Inventory Count
• End of Month Count
• Daily Waste tracking & logging in
• Donation Process
• Daily Critical Assessments
• Assign and Deliver feedback on FIE Tasks
• Travel Path Updates
• Can open and close Raw
• Can open and close Machines

Hours of Work Other Requirements:

• This is a part-time/full-time, hourly position.
• Part time employees are typically scheduled 25 hours or less per week.
• Full time Employees are typically scheduled 35 per week.
• The schedule will be provided according to N.Y.C. requirements
• Payroll is submitted weekly.
• To remain an active employee of Chick-fil-A Bartow Avenue, you must actively work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Team Members expecting full-time hours must have opening and/or closing availability 4 days per week for shifts lasting 8-9 hours per day (i.e. 6am-2pm; 6am-3pm; 2pm-10pm; 2pm-10:30pm.)
