Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proven ability to manage kitchen inventory and control food costs.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Capable of performing all kitchen duties, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
• Ability to supervise a kitchen team effectively during a shift without direct oversight.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Highly dependable and punctual.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality food items.
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Papa John's recipes, preparation methods, and food quality standards.
• Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage, to minimize waste and control costs.
• Implement and enforce all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist the General Manager in achieving profit goals by managing kitchen expenses and optimizing food usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with all safety and security standards.
• Train new kitchen staff and provide ongoing coaching and development for the team.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, dependability, and a sense of urgency in achieving kitchen operational goals.
• Responsible for opening or closing kitchen operations as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth order flow and timely customer service.
