Guest Service Representative

Job Summary:

At Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC), we’re looking for a Guest Service Representative who brings enthusiasm, warmth, and a passion for service to every guest interaction. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in creating memorable experiences, offering solutions for celebratory occasions, and promoting our delicious cakes. Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction: Greet walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm to assess their needs and provide personalized service. Follow NbC’s Sweet Steps of Service to create a memorable guest experience.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of NbC cakes, including flavor profiles, sizes, pricing, and special promotions, to guide guests in their purchase decisions.
• Sales Support: Suggest complementary items such as candles, balloons, and greeting cards to enhance the guest’s celebration. Invite guests to join the NbC Email Club for exclusive offers and updates.
• Order Processing: Accurately and efficiently process orders through the point-of-sale system, ensuring the correct details and pricing.
• Bakery Presentation: Keep the bakery clean and organized, including regular cleaning of surfaces, countertops, floors, and windows. Replenish retail merchandise and the cake display case to ensure a visually appealing setup.
• Cake Decoration Assistance: Assist the Crafter with cake decoration and packaging as needed, ensuring all products are prepared and presented according to NbC standards.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene standards.
• Reliability: Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record, contributing positively to the overall team dynamics.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• While no formal education is required, previous experience in guest service at a bakery, restaurant, or retail store is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business demands change.
