Shift Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

The Shift Manager is responsible for leading restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This includes managing team members, supporting customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and delivering business results that align with Wendy' standards and values.

• Guide and lead team members through daily restaurant operations, setting a positive example of teamwork and professionalism.
• Support the restaurant' management team in achieving customer, employee, sales, and operational goals.
• Promote and maintain a Customer First culture by delivering excellent service and support to guests.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to build high-performing teams.
• Uphold Wendy' food safety protocols, brand standards, and operational procedures.
• Problem solve, make decisions, and adapt quickly to resolve customer or operational challenges.
• Operate and oversee restaurant equipment such as headsets, registers, and grills to support shift operations.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and up to Wendy' quality standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a SERV Safe Certification by the end of training.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to home store and occasionally other locations for training or meetings.
