We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Games Technician to act as a top-tier expert and leader in maintaining our exciting, high-tech amusement and gaming equipment. This critical role involves advanced troubleshooting, repair, and ensuring all technical components are operating perfectly to deliver an unparalleled Guest experience. Senior Techs are also vital in mentoring and developing the skills of the Support Tech team.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a positive, outgoing attitude, and be able to consistently engage with Guests and fellow Team Members while working various shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both Guests and the internal team.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary technical resource for the repair, maintenance, and setup of all complex gaming machines, simulators, and general technical equipment within the facility.
  • Ensure the Million Dollar Midway maintains optimal operational status, creating an ideal player environment at all times for our Guests.
  • Provide exceptional Guest service, helping to deliver the best combination of food, drinks, and games in an environment that is pure fun.
  • Promptly and fully inform management of any significant or unusual technical issues, recommending corrective actions or alternative solutions.
  • Deliver timely and precise service to Guests, proactively managing expectations, minimizing wait times, and communicating effectively with all Team Members and Managers.
  • Greet all Guests with genuine enthusiasm, often while managing multiple job functions simultaneously.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment by smiling and greeting Guests upon entering the arcade area.
  • Efficiently assist Guests by troubleshooting and restoring amusement equipment to full operation.
  • Manage the secure stocking and refilling of tickets in redemption games, strictly controlling all ticket storage areas.
  • Address all Guest questions and requests thoroughly, providing recommendations as needed.
  • Offer a warm farewell to departing Guests, confirming their satisfaction and inviting them to return soon.
  • Immediately alert management to any Guest who appears dissatisfied to ensure quick resolution.
  • Take responsibility for the organization, security, and attractive display of prize merchandise and inventory in all storage locations.
  • Perform merchandise inventory counts during and after shifts, where applicable.
  • Conduct regular checks for and restock all necessary maintenance and Midway supplies, bringing all areas up to company standard.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to resolve persistent technical or operational issues.
  • Oversee the overall cleanliness and systematic arrangement of the arcade games, guaranteeing all games are spotless and pathways are clear and unobstructed.
  • Strategically position and arrange displays to maximize Guest traffic and boost sales performance.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and clean tech room and other storage areas daily.
  • Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive and scheduled game maintenance both safely and efficiently, as directed by leadership.
  • Support management with general facility upkeep and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Offer assistance and support to other Team Members when needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative professional relationship with all colleagues to promote a harmonious, highly effective, and productive working culture.

  • Lift and transport items weighing up to 30 pounds.
