Job Summary of Prep Cook:

At IHOP, as a Prep Cook, your tasks encompass the management of food storage, the cooking process, and the plating of dishes in compliance with both local laws and IHOP's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Your pivotal role revolves around crafting superb meals that align with customers expectations and reflect our unwavering commitment to food safety and culinary brilliance.

Responsibilities of Prep Cook:

Establish and nurture productive functional relationships with employees at IHOP.
Adhere to the specifications detailed in the IHOP SOP manuals when cooking meals.
Commit to memory and implement the distinct IHOP kitchen jargon, presentation styles, dish options, operational methods, kitchen equipment, shorthand, and procedures.
Ensure that your workstation remains tidy and sanitized.
Ensure that you follow the health, sanitation, and safety regulations established by your local authorities and SOPs.
Follow the IHOP guidelines for uniforms and personal presentation as specified in the SOP instructions.
