Food Service Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Food Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering an exceptional experience to every guest by ensuring fast, accurate service and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment. Whether preparing food, assisting with sales, or supporting store operations, your energy and dedication will help drive the success of the store and provide memorable customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests and efficiently processing transactions
• Accurately scan items or enter prices manually, handle payment, and provide receipts
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to meet customer satisfaction and food safety standards
• Follow all company policies regarding the sale of age-restricted items (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery)
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store, kitchen, backroom, and outside areas
• Monitor inventory and assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Follow company safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for staff and customers
• Complete required paperwork, including daily logs and shift reports
• Accurately record time worked and follow company attendance policies

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: 0 6 months of related experience (retail, food service, or customer-facing roles a plus)
• Requirements:Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must successfully complete company-provided training
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities and store needs
• Physical Requirements:Ability to move quickly throughout the location during shifts
• Must be able to stand for extended periods on hard flooring
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds

Salary:

Hourly rate: Competitive pay, starting at $12 $15 per hour, based on experience and location
