Role and Responsibilities:

As a Chef at Wingstop, you will play a vital role in maintaining the brand's reputation for exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. This position blends both kitchen operations and customer interaction, ensuring every dish served upholds Wingstop's flavor standards and commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items that delight every guest.

• Provide a warm and positive greeting to guests and ensure a welcoming dining experience.
• Accurately process customer orders through the POS system, both in-store and over the phone.
• Stay familiar with the full menu, including sauces, sides, new additions, and seasonal promotions.
• Prepare and cook bone-in wings, boneless wings, tenders, and fries while following safety and quality guidelines.
• Ensure all portions and sauces meet Wingstop's precise standards for consistency and flavor.
• Manage cooking times for wings and fries to guarantee freshness, texture, and taste in every order.
• Present food neatly and attractively while maintaining hygiene and presentation standards.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized throughout operations.
• Use proper safety gear and follow established procedures when replacing fryer oil.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and follow guidance from managers and leads.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards to ensure a safe and compliant workspace.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience in a kitchen, cooking, or line cook position preferred.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or cashier role is a plus.
• Valid Food Handler Certification required.
• Comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
