The Regional Manager leads a team of up to seven District Managers and reports directly to the Director of Operations. This role is critical in driving the overall financial health, operational excellence, and growth of multiple districts. Acting as the primary communication link between the Sailormen Corporate Office, brand support, and district operations, the Regional Manager ensures consistent execution of business strategies, compliance, and customer satisfaction across the region.
Responsibilities:
Lead the ongoing training, development, and performance management of District Managers to cultivate a strong leadership pipeline.
Oversee interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure high-quality talent acquisition.
Develop succession plans and bench strength to support future organizational growth.
Ensure new restaurant openings are fully prepared and meet deadlines.
Manage and execute administrative protocols, including complaint resolution and approval workflows.
Conduct quarterly business planning to align with corporate goals.
Control all controllable expenses such as food, labor, supplies, and maintenance within budget guidelines.
Drive year-over-year growth in sales, transactions, and profitability.
Oversee safe and deposit management to safeguard assets.
Monitor and improve operational metrics, including Overall Satisfaction (OSAT), Speed of Service (SOS), Pull Forward Rate (PF%), Restaurant Evaluation Visits (REV), and Popeyes Academy Training compliance.
Enforce district-wide adherence to all Popeyes corporate mandates and policies.
Plan and implement marketing rollouts and community outreach initiatives.
Conduct regular district tours, manager meetings, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
Approve weekly time cards, invoices, and repair/maintenance expenses up to $2,500.
Maintain timely communication through calls, texts, and emails, ensuring responsiveness during business hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience managing multiple locations within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing management teams and driving results.
Excellent financial management capabilities, including budget adherence and P&L analysis.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on support in restaurants.
Flexibility to work a 5-day, 50-hour week including weekend days, with frequent travel and in-restaurant presence.
