Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor and guide them to their tables.
• Monitor guest needs and manage the flow of the restaurant, seating guests efficiently.
• Provide the correct number of menus and kid packs as needed when seating guests.
• Conduct restroom checks, answer phone calls, and maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, bakery, and retail areas. Ensure the general work area is stocked and tidy.
• Adhere to safe food and beverage handling practices.
• Interact with guests, handle crowds gracefully, and make waiting guests feel comfortable while they wait for their table or carryout order.
• Demonstrate care for guests by inquiring about their dining experience.
• Efficiently handle guest complaints and involve management when necessary.
• Process cash and credit card transactions, accurately accounting for all receivables including cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
• Assist in promotional services and situational selling, such as informing guests about new promotions or products.
• Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed.
• Collaborate with managers to quote accurate wait times for guests.
• May be assigned to assist in other job categories as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
