Position summary: To assist in the set-up, operation and cleanup of the interior and exterior of the restaurant; washes, stores and stocks all plate ware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other smallwares and equipment for the restaurant. Correctly cleans and maintains the dishwashing machine. Keeps dish machine area clean and sanitary.

Requirements:

Requisite experience and competencies:

• Being able to stand for extended periods and move consistently for up to four hours without interruption is a key requirement for this role.
• Demonstrating proficiency in communication and active listening with superiors and coworkers is necessary for success in the role.
• Essential duties include the ability to constantly bend, stoop, lift, and carry dish racks, trash cans, linen bags, and other items with weights reaching up to 75 pounds.
• Properly clean, store, and refill all dishes, drinkware, cutlery, mugs, bowls, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and other small equipment to ensure an ample stock is prepared for guest dining needs
• Demonstrate precision in aiding with spot cleaning tasks for floors, carpets, walls, and furnishings in order to sustain a safe and appealing space for team members and visitors
• Strengthen your communicative skills to foster better collaboration and cooperation with others
• Excel in a fast-moving work environment
