Restaurant Assistant Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Deli Manager, you will collaborate with the Deli Manager to oversee food preparation, inventory control, and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every item served reflects Wingstop's signature quality and flavor.

• Lead by example to deliver high-quality food, maintain service standards, and promote a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Support the Deli Manager in daily operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and inventory management.
• Ensure all food preparation meets Wingstop's standards for quality, consistency, and safety.
• Oversee compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines across the deli and kitchen areas.
• Assist in managing costs, tracking sales performance, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to drive growth and accountability.
• Work closely with the Deli Manager to handle administrative duties such as payroll, reporting, and ordering supplies.
• Participate in developing and executing local marketing and community outreach initiatives to promote the Wingstop brand.
• Maintain knowledge of all deli operations and step in to support various tasks as needed to ensure smooth workflow.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional culinary or management training preferred.
• 13 years of experience in food service, retail, or hospitality management, ideally within a deli or quick-service restaurant environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, deliver exceptional guest service, and achieve operational goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and motivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; openness to learning new technology platforms.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards in food safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

Work Availability:

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Full-time position with an average of approximately 42 hours per week during non-peak seasons.
• During busy or promotional periods, additional hours may be required to ensure seamless deli operations.
