Regional General Manager

Job Summary of Regional General Manager:

The position of a Regional General Manager at IHOP involves the coordination of operations within a specific establishment to promote its efficiency, financial viability, and adherence to brand standards. You will be required to supervise the daily running of the front and back of the house, adhering to IHOP's quality and service protocols, and motivating your team to reach sales and operational milestones.

Responsibilities of Regional General Manager:

• Enforce the yearly financial, neighborhood eatery promotional, client satisfaction, and workforce targets, plans, and maneuvers for the allocated venue
• Enlist, instruct, enhance, and maintain workforce members
• Deliver consistent coaching sessions and manage the execution of the hourly wage program in the restaurant.
• Deliver performance appraisals
• Transmit and uphold company guidelines effectively
• Compliance with SOP guidelines is essential to guarantee that food is both safe to consume and visually appealing
• Ensure compliance with and reinforcement of appropriate register and cash-handling guidelines.
• Carry out promotional activities at both national and community levels
• Ensure all mandatory paperwork is completed.
• Complete paperwork promptly and with precision.
• Ensure that personnel records contain the relevant employment and legal documentation.

Qualifications of Regional General Manager:

• Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Experience with managing a profit and loss statement and make adjustments accordingly
• Management experience in casual dining or similar segment of at least 3 years
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to operate restaurant equipment to include BOH and FOH systems.

Physical Demands of Regional General Manager:

• In the course of fulfilling this position, the employee is expected to stand, walk, and sit on a regular basis.
• Tasks for staff members include using hands for gripping, handling, or sensing various objects, tools, or devices; extending arms and hands; bending or kneeling; talking or listening; and tasting or smelling.
• The employee regularly must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
